Hi, I’m Gem 

I am a registered nurse and foot health practitioner. My goal is to modernise and transform traditional medical foot care into a holistic wellness experience.

With a background in nursing from the University of Leeds, I’ve gained extensive clinical experience in both the NHS and private sectors.

My approach is warm, meticulous and holistic. The appointments I provide cover everything from routine medical nail care and corn / callus management to spa-like medical pedicures and luxury foot and leg massage.

During a 20 year career in nursing, i became a senior nurse and clinical nurse lead in complex care, before changing path and re-training as a foot health practitioner. I completed my clinical training at Huddersfield, building a strong foundation in general foot health care.

For the past 2.5 years, I’ve built a valued customer base whilst working in private practice. Providing routine foot care with regular clinics in the LS28 area. I always promote foot health as an essential part of everyday health and wellbeing, not just for those with foot problems.

Insight and experience have driven me to create Farsley Foot Hub — a unique, warm and tranquil foot clinic, in the beautiful, historic Sunnybank Mills, Farsley. A space that is both accessible and spacious, where high clinical standards are maintained. Ensuring patients feel well cared for and relaxed. My retail space means patients can find and purchase exactly the right products they need, to keep their feet healthy and comfortable in between appointments.

My mission is to ensure that foot health is a key wellness priority for all patients that visit the clinic.
